An incredible remodeled Mews house in London. Love every detail, including those stairs!

A little more on this incredible home in Aspen from the previous post…just to die for! Grey, wood and chic.

The most beautiful stairs I have ever seen! Like floating thin whispy clouds. And this recessed handrail detail is absolutely perfect.

This is one of the most inspiring projects I have come across. Architecture by Govaert & Vanhoutte
If you need some privacy…bring down the solars!
Quite a big door. Just gorgeous.
Rarely do you see actual people in architectural images…love this shot, full of movement and enthusiasm.
Floating stairs.
Some brilliant seamless storage.
Have you noticed that these ceilings are impeccably clean…just the necessary rectangular recessed lighting not tons of cans peppering the view from below.

I am becoming obsessed with Katon Redgen Mathieson’s work. I cannot get enough.
Can I please just live here? Diesis sofa, B&B tables and ottoman. This fireplace is ridiculously cool and love the quiet soft white sheers framing the window. Oooooooo!
Black fittings with calacatta marble….what can I say…perfection.
The stair detail is gorgeous!

Let’s make today interesting…a space for TV producer Darren Star, renovated by Mark Rios of Rios Clementi Hale Studios and decorated by Waldo Fernandez of Waldo’s Designs.
Love this kitchen! Gorgeous finishes and windows. Bulthaup kitchen and Dornbracht fittings.
Very interesting combination. Paul Evans dining table and 4 chairs, Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann rosewood armchairs and Venini chandelier.
Ed Ruscha painting and a circa-1940s Moroccan carpet from Mansour. Also loving the chair in the corner!

The work of Darren Carnell Architects. Masculine, modern, sexy and beautifully detailed.
What an interesting ceiling. I am totally loving this room with the stark contrast.

I’ll save some more of this goodness for tomorrow.
Just beautiful. This dining table is to die for! The top is one piece of slate. Stone, plaster and anigre wood, simple and effective. The small black stools are designed by Charlotte Perriand. Drapery fabric is Rogers & Goffigon.
Anigre wood floating staircase.
Restful color palate. Finn Juhl Pelican chairs, a Poul Kjaerholm daybed and Alvar Aalto table and wing chair. Look at that baseboard detail! The rugs feel like lily pads among the sea of light grey stone.
Andy Warhol’s Shadows series rests on a Jean Prouvé console.
The illustrious egg chair by Arne Jacobsen.
Blackened steel surrounds the fireplace.
Pendant lamps by Poul Henningsen hang over the kitchen table. Viking range and hood.
