Joseph Dirand’s Parisien apartment. The perfect merriment of classic and minimalist design.
A suede-covered Oscar Niemeyer chair. Obsessed with this chair!
A very tranquil monotone palate.
A huge chunk of marble with only a slight indent for the sink becomes the vanity. Waterworks fixtures.
The painting is by Lawrence Carroll. Pierre Jeanneret sofa and chairs.

A super cool space in a London house. By Michaelis Boyd.
I’m loving emerald right now. Could you do a green kitchen? Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi’s Beverly Hills home.

This is lovely. I find myself gravitating more and more towards the classical. This lovely gem is by Shelton, Mindel & Associates.
What gorgeous molding on the ceiling! And while the cabinets have a more classic design, they are still clean looking and streamlined. Just up my alley.
Lovely french bistro chairs fit the kitchen nicely.

Have you seen this incredible house designed by Kelly Behun? It’s a little too big as a weekend house for me but I am loving the openness and views. Kelly was a protégé of Philippe Starck and also did Ivanka Trump’s Manhattan apartment.
One of my fav sofas, the extra wall by Living Divani. The rope stool and blue chair are by Christian Astuguevieille. The rugs are custom African raffia ceremonial cloths.
This is my favorite room of the house. Loving the the rope textures mixed with the walnut woods and vintage metal and wicker light fixture. The rope chair is the Oggetti cup chair and the rugs are Moroccan. Those amazingly fabulous hand stools are from West Palm Beach.
The French limestone tub goes on forever extending through the window…very cool! I think I need this furry stool by Marc Bankowsky.

I’ve come across Sara Story Design from cabbagerose and love her work! Check out this great project in Manhattan.
The textures and colors all meld together in a harmonious way. The sheen of the silk rug and the striations of the marble echo one another. The pale pinks are a perfect compliment to the greys on the materials and walls. I also really like the pale grey wainscotting…something I would be nervous to try but it looks fabulous.
This vintage Osvaldo Borsani lounge chair P-40 is gorgeous!
Such a fun playroom. Sofa is by Ligne Roset.

This is so California! Airy, bright but warmed up with some gorgeous wood.
If you had a ranch house, wouldn’t it look like this? By Backen, Gillam & Kroeger Architects. This lovely house is in Napa Valley, one of my favorite places on earth. They are also doing the renovation of Meadowood, a charming resort in Napa. I stayed there last year and can’t wait to see how they enhance the place.
This feels very weekend-y…casual, calming and very Belgium. The old wood door/structure and stone flooring create the depth of the space. And this flower arrangement is way too gorgeous.

I normally gravitate towards white; white walls, white ceilings, white furniture (sometimes a bad idea). But this blue kitchen seems really lovely to me. It is a calming sophisticated blue, with hints of grey and green. Very chic. I don’t know how long I could live with a blue kitchen before wanting to paint it white but for now, it’s good.
