A great space with warm wood tones by Office for Word and Image.
GREAT fireplace. Love the functionality of the wood shelves and the mix of materials. Also love the tonality of the Mies van Der Roher brown leather Barcelona lounge chair with the warm woods.
Great lighting and sink details.

Remember this house by d’apostrophe design? Here is more!
I just love this punch of red from the vintage moroccan rug on the floor. My fav Living Divani sofa, the extra wall. A minimalist fireplace after my own heart. The floating panels above conceal ductwork…brilliant.
Dinesen wide-plank Douglas-fir floorboards. BDDW floor lamp.
Chairs and matching side table are vintage Allan Gould.
Amazingly cool speakers are by Proclaim Audioworks. Vintage Belgian chair. I could totally practice yoga here, you?
Super cute ducduc beds.

I was in London this past weekend and had afternoon tea at the Blakes Hotel. I had ginger tea and delish scones with cream and strawberries…yum! While the interiors are not so modern per se, Anouska Hempel designed impeccably luxurious and graceful suites with billowing drapes and a light palate that bow to the traditional vein and also manifest with a contemporary clean natural palate. Not too shabby for a stay, right?
Such a princess canopy bed!
It’s monday so let’s start our week off with a bit of perfect from genius Christian Liaigre.
Unbelievably gorgeous and sumptuous mix of materials with metal, parchment, and velvet.

Christian Liaigre is the king of creating warm contemporary interiors using a mix of textural intriguing materials like metal, natural woods, luscious velvets, lacquers and stone. Mmmmmm.
It’s hump day! Something special for you today from Workshop for Architecture.
My perfect mix of materials, calacatta marble, light white oak, and a little bit of dark woods.
Great details here. TV inset and flush with the wall.
Looks like an Alexander Calder mobile.
Oh oh oh! Just beautiful! Serge Mouille table lamps, Bddw cabinets.
Linear light with a hidden source.
Some more Serge Mouille. I also see the top of a walnut cherner armchair. Love the dark grey drapes with the mix of woods and black lighting.

I have had this image on my inspiration board for years…still love it.
The Mies van der Rohe MR chair is one of my favorites.
Some more of Rosevear Architects work…
Oooh, this is love.
What caught my eye, is the recessed handrail detail, do you see?
Interior by Guillaume Terver
A minimal hearth for a simple fireplace by Messana O’Rorke. Love the color palate here too.
The floating stone hearth fits perfectly with a little reveal. Nice.
I recently stumbled across the brilliant work of NY designer Pol Theis. He creates very interesting dynamic interiors with unexpected elements.
The relaxed romans add an informality and softness to the cubist nature of the Paola Lenti Atollo sofa. I think this is my new favorite sofa.
I really like the idea of floor to ceiling cabinetry and this lit niche behind the bed.
These babies kind of freak me out but I like the idea of clusters of objects perched on shelving.
Great great floor lamps next to the bed.
