Christian Liaigre is my Lady Gaga and I am so bummed because I missed the president of Christian Liaigre, Christophe Caillaud, speak today because of work. So bummed. If you went, please let me know every word that was spoken! Sooooo to make up for it, let’s go to Le Sereno, a hotel designed by Christian Liaigre in St. Barths.
Some goodness from Erin Martin Design.
Look at those perfectly rectangular stacked stones!
Great ceiling here. Love these zig zag floor lamps from Jielde.
Serge Mouille sconces.
Awwww. Why have art when you can have polaroids in the shape of a heart? Love.
White lacquer, stainless steel, and marble counters…yum.

The brilliance of Tamizo Architects.
Floating envelope of steel stairs…so cool.
Gorgeous bookcase/wall! The lighting is effervescent.
<3 this light white oak flooring.
Fun!
The goodness of Leroy Street Studio…
I cannot tell if there is water under this wood flooring section, but this is pretty pretty amazing.
Interesting ceiling.
More wood on the walls!
Beautious view!
Steven Volpe’s Paris pied-a-terre is pretty much a gallery of notable furniture.
Ok so here we go, we have a sofa designed by Christian Liaigre, a lounge chair designed by the Italian trio Grassi, Conti, and Furlani, stainless-steel Rock tables by Arik Levy, Jansen vintage stool, not to mention some gorgeous Parisian boiserie and herringbone floors.
Christian Liagire floor lamps. I am really loving the contrast of the luscious grey silk drapes.
Hanging light fixture is by Nathalie Pasqua, and the sconces are by Artemide. 1940’s Italian vintage chair.
Mohair throw, Christian Liaigre floor lamp. I love this idea of a floor lamp next to a bed.

I am in need of some John Pawson clean minimal for my headspace right now. His usual combo of wood and white creates such a zen simplicity.
I love this vent detail and those gorgeous drapes.
I recently stumbled across the brilliant work of NY designer Pol Theis. He creates very interesting dynamic interiors with unexpected elements.
The relaxed romans add an informality and softness to the cubist nature of the Paola Lenti Atollo sofa. I think this is my new favorite sofa.
I really like the idea of floor to ceiling cabinetry and this lit niche behind the bed.
These babies kind of freak me out but I like the idea of clusters of objects perched on shelving.
Great great floor lamps next to the bed.
I am in love with Douglas Friedman‘s work. Truly inspirational.
The bed styling is simply elegant. Douglas fir floors.
Gorgeous pop of navy amid the beachy wood tones. Notice the tv inset and flush with the wall…nice touch!
The wooden “eggs” add a dark contrast touch and sense of movement.
Buddha in the kitchen.
I love the simplicity of this fireplace.
Fall, my favorite season is approaching and we are leaving summer behind. Today, a little Shelton, Mindel & Associates Martha’s Vineyard inspiration. Summer, we love you.
Peter Rose–designed beach house.
Cedar-shingle-clad main house.
A pedigree of modern pieces; Arne Vodder chaise, Jean Royère armchairs, a Pierre Chapo low table and a Franco Albini rattan armchair. I love the fully enveloped cedar wood room with the exposed brick fireplace. Warm and welcoming.
What could be better than a bright orange Saarinen Tulip table? The textures of the cedar wood ceiling and wall cladding paired with the brick, bluestone hearth and the woven shades is quiet and cocoon-like. Ruelland vases, and Jean Prouvé chaise.
Cedar wood walls and ceiling and Hans Wegner Wishbone chairs and a Fabricius & Kastholm table. Amazing photograph by Noriko Furunishi.
A casual kitchen with cedar cabinetry and bluestone countertops. Accessorized with Michelle Boyer candelabrum and green vases by Dani and Jacques Ruelland.
