Have you seen this incredible house designed by Kelly Behun? It’s a little too big as a weekend house for me but I am loving the openness and views. Kelly was a protégé of Philippe Starck and also did Ivanka Trump’s Manhattan apartment.
One of my fav sofas, the extra wall by Living Divani. The rope stool and blue chair are by Christian Astuguevieille. The rugs are custom African raffia ceremonial cloths.
This is my favorite room of the house. Loving the the rope textures mixed with the walnut woods and vintage metal and wicker light fixture. The rope chair is the Oggetti cup chair and the rugs are Moroccan. Those amazingly fabulous hand stools are from West Palm Beach.
The French limestone tub goes on forever extending through the window…very cool! I think I need this furry stool by Marc Bankowsky.

I have a thing for wintery spaces…I love finding spaces that feel cozy and inspire a cup of hot chocolate whilst cuddling up with a great book. One day, we will build our mountain ski house and I want it to feel exactly like this. Modern but warm. You can still maintain clean lines and that cuddly feeling in a space.
Hello Bocci pendants!

If you had a ranch house, wouldn’t it look like this? By Backen, Gillam & Kroeger Architects. This lovely house is in Napa Valley, one of my favorite places on earth. They are also doing the renovation of Meadowood, a charming resort in Napa. I stayed there last year and can’t wait to see how they enhance the place.
A gorgeous shingle clad home in the Hamptons by Christoff:Finio Architecture.
Here we have a mid-century Persian kilim and the TG-10 dining chairs designed by Bill Katavolos. I really like the mix of these two.
Hans J. Wegner chairs from Laurin Copen Antiques.
A great perch of an office with an Arne Jacobsen pendant light from Louis Poulsen Lighting and a golden Moroccan kilim.
A BDDW cabinet.

Motu Tane is a private island in French Polynesia. It is still so hot here in London, that I am going to imagine being on this tropical island enjoying the heat instead of in central London not enjoying the sticky icky heat. I’m not complaining or anything. The best part is that it is designed by Christian Liaigre. You can rent the private island for $40,000 a night. Enjoy!
Functional use of dark woods to minimize the bright sun. The red chair gives a POP and some energy to the room. The natural abaca rugs add texture. Perfectly complimentary palate of materials.
This might be my favorite spot. I love the brightly colored pillows with the dancing fire in front. I am OBSESSED with Christian Liaigre furniture. This stool is crafted and conceived to fit right into the environment. I would like one for myself!

I’m really in love with this space. It feels very clean and open with expert detailing. I would imagine this home is in Belgium, you?
love how the door reaches all the way to the ceiling, not the mention how lovely the light drapes over the hallway.
i also like how the ceiling is not punctuated with recessed cans everywhere…there is this one simple recessed fixture. the drapes reach the ceiling, adding height to the space.
again, this door detail is so minimal.
these drapes are so romantic in how they puddle to the floor, such a nice juxtaposition to the quiet feeling of the space.
okay, this vanity is gorgeous…but where do you put the hairdryer??
hans wegner chairs.
wood children’s toys are my favorite!

I’ve been away for a bit, celebrating a big birthday of mine somewhere amazing…The Amanyara, in the Turks and Caicos, was an absolute dream, perfectly designed with an incredible backdrop. Enjoy the pics! Oh, I live in London now, but Happy Fourth of July!
I am obsessed with their cushions…so sleek.
Philippe Starck Tub.
The library.
Aman Resorts
Rees Roberts + Partners are absolute perfection. I love everything they do. I am obsessed.
The texture on the fireplace is out of this world. The color palate is soothing and simple, creamy white walls, bleached wood, soft blues, sandy linens. David Weeks chandelier.
B&B italia chairs. Taraxacum light fixture. Smooth fabric walls….so sooooooft.
I could die in this kitchen. The view…the materials, the cabinetry!
David Weeks light fixture. It’s all so simple but so elegant.
Another David Weeks light fixture and sconces. B&B italia bed…one of my favorites, but you need a ceiling like this! A never ending looooooong clean thin window seat.
This sculptural light fixture is called the 21.50. It is stunning!

An incredible orchestra of modern architecture and modern furnishings. Just gorgeous and loving every bit of it! By Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects in Amagansett, NY.
Gorgeous floor to ceiling Duratherm doors and windows. A simple Boffi kitchen with a Gaggenau cooktop, and vintage Arne Jacobsen barstools from Wyeth. I like the contrast of the hard surface flooring with the wood window/door frames. It bring warmth back into the space.
Vintage Jacobsen side chairs surround a custom-made wood and steel dining table. These fab outdoor sofas are by Sutherland.
This is stunning.
